When kids and teens larp, it's fine due to them not knowing better or striving for those actual goals. When adults larp, especially when it's not an obviously performative act like the roleplay of a reenactment or similar, then it ranges from extremely lame to extremely gay. Those types larp when they want to show off their "personal achievements" when they did nothing and fail to strive to earn that for the clout they wish to receive.
