I think he is one the best philosophers of all time. I agree that Humans are naturally born good. I think that originally well meaning components that add individuality cause civilization to decline and finally die. On his western counterpart Rousseau, I think he conflates private property (which is an essential for human society) with things such as "civil rights" and "welfare" and "freedom of speech doesnt means freedom from consequences" and "feminism" and "inalienable rights" and you get the gist, which ultimately puts us in shackles.
