Unpopular opinion:
I hold the French revolution with ambivalence since it did lead to the rise of Napoleon. It also exposed the pathetic mob mentality of egalitarian philosophy. What comes to my attention immediately seeing this is that France for some reason celebrates Bastille day. SAD!
