It's truly a shame that I became so discouraged after witnessing the greatest monster of them all, normalfags. To say that they thoroughly degraded the medium would be an understatement. From my current memory, there were more than ten comics planned by the time that I started working on #2. All of them now shelved due to EPIC SPOOKY TROLLFACE EVENT!!! becoming something that I never wished to see again.
Reville was a captain turned struggling author, burdened by his adventures within the undocumented very early 1900s oceans. There he would visit a dark island, one that, after exploring the ruins for some time, would sink right back down into the briny depths. Before he was able to escape, though, he witnessed in a vision the very beast that he would try to write about years later. Just a mere glimpse, mind you, but it completely sent him over the edge nonetheless.
