Interesting article by a former SMG4 writer named "Colin Rodgers" on what the production of each episode was like
>Kevin, SMG4's brother, was extremely bossy and incompetent, hired this Colin after he asked him for a job on linkedin. When he criticized the script for the "it's gotta be perfect" film, he started acting hostile to him and reduced his pay and made him work more hours to force him to quit. Mind you this was after he convinced him to drop out of college
>Kevin also siphoned 1700 leaf bucks from him
>FightingMario54321, or his actual name of "Aadron Rogers" (not to be confused for this dude's brother or the quaterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers) plagarized some of his idea for a nophono mario reacts meme compilation
>Colin came up with an idea for an arc that was later stolen for the It's Gotta Be Perfect movie. There's apparently a TVtropes article comparing the two plots but I cant find it
>Kevin and his friends, despite making the show all about le epic maymays XD, are not very literate in meme trends. Colin had seen "the gritty" emote from Fortnite grow in popularity and suggested it be put in the show, it got sternly dismissed, they referenced it a few weeks later anyways once it went mainstream. Because chasing trends instead of building or setting trends is always more successful!
>SMG4's production had no creation pipelines, character/story bibles, lorekeeping, no-no sheets, or even storyboards until after Colin had left. So between 17 year old SMG4 hiring his bro to write scripts and some time around 2024, it was basically just a bunch of fags in a group making independent scripts with little reference material
>The entire SMG4 crew had used countless resources from other people, but never credited them. Not only is this rude and unprofessional, this directly affected me as I had to comb YouTube and the GMod workshop for resources like sound effects and music because he would never release sounds or GMod addons or pictures or anything, and he still sits on his pile of content like a dragon in an age of a Nintendo-free Garry's Mod.
>Glitch fired a major voice actor for their debut series and SMG4 without telling her, let alone explaining why, and then replaced her instantly. This actually caused outcry from fans so they released a half-assed insencere apology. Also one of the people involved was a tranny btw if that matters o algo
>Also in the comment section, he explained that Luke (the creator of SMG4 for those new to the stream) was timid, doesn't like being a leader, and that Kevin was harsh on him over the redesigns. This both discredits and credits the theory that Kevin bullied Luke into letting him rape SuperMarioGlitchy4
I could go on about Mr. Puzzles design being stolen, the main animator shipping Mario with Meggy and sneaking it into the show, Colin claiming he saw redesign documents for Mario in 2023, but I think this post alone shows how much of a shitshow Glitch actually is behind the scenes
