Old Monument Mythos was gemmy It was a surreal and weird and distorted form of Americana but now everything is just completely lobotomized by his fans I did not like what he did with the House in the Ocean (bringing it back into the Nixonverse) I know it’s about memory and his old work and being out of respect for his father’s death but maybe he could have brought it back every year for a week and then unlisted it again His stuff is genuinely a mess
If he decided to just stop the new series of Monument Mythos and retire to find some inner comfort and meaning instead of getting his egg heckin’ cracked by his discord buddies his brain would’ve not been boiled by jarty fluid
